Yankees fan catches Mookie Betts' glove trying to get the ball loose in the World Series
Two overzealous New York fans were ejected from the Yankees' do-or-die win over the Dodgers on Wednesday after a foul ball ripped from Los Angeles outfielder Mookie Betts' glove.
The weird “only in New York” moment happened when Gleyber Torres led off the bottom of the first inning with a pop fly to right field at Yankee Stadium.

After Bates caught the ball, a Yankees fan wearing an Aaron Judge jersey wouldn't let go of Bates' left arm until he loosened it.
The attempt failed when the umpire ruled Torres out for fan interference, and stadium security ejected the two men.
“Fans were escorted out of Yankee Stadium and evacuated following the incident,” a team spokesman said in a statement.
This is the second time this series that Torres has been on the wrong end of a fan interference call. In the ninth inning of Game 1, he appeared to be the go-ahead home run in Los Angeles, but a Dodgers fan reached over the wall and doubled it instead.
Otherwise, it was a good night for the Yankees, whose bats came alive to lead them to an 11-4 win and avoid an embarrassing series sweep at home.
