Week 8 Friday Injury Report: Two WRs out, Andy Dalton questionable
CHARLOTTE — Wide receivers Deontay Johnson and Adam Thielen are among the six listed and three Panthers players are listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Johnson (ribs) did not practice this week, while Thielen (hamstring) worked out Wednesday and Thursday before heading out Friday.
Also listed are safeties Jamie Robinson (knee), Nick Scott (hamstring) and Jordan Fuller (hamstring) and outside linebacker DJ Wannam (quadriceps).
Quarterback Andy Dalton (right thumb) tops the list of questionable players. He did not practice this week. They are waiting to see if he can return to back up Bryce Young, who will start this week.
Running back Jonathan Brooks (knee) and cornerback Dane Jackson (hamstring) are also questionable.
Thielen, Fuller, Wonnum, and Brooks were not activated on the 53-man roster, but practiced this week.
Kicker Eddie Pineiro (injury related/not personal) did not appear Friday, but is not injured to play. Nine other players have been placed on the questionable list.
