Taylor Swift brings career-spanning intensity to Miami acoustic set
MIAMI — It looks like there may be a new wave of surprise set costumes on the final leg of the Eras Tour. Taylor Swift showed off a new two-tone dress on Saturday, as she did on Friday.
Although the gown has the same cut as the previous night's dress, the colors for night two were purple and blue. The glitter of the dress caught every ray of light in the stadium.
“Welcome to Miami Acoustics,” he said, picking up his guitar. “I think we have the most rewarding group to show off a new outfit. Because it's a brand new dress that I've never worn before and you noticed.”
The dress shimmered as she explained her acoustic set, custom for every single concert.
“I never do the same thing twice,” he says before performing a mashup of “You Shouldn't Say” and “I Did Something Bad” from his debut album.

When she sang the first line of “Fame,” the audience shouted back the lyrics to Swift. During the bridge, he shouted in a rocker voice, “So give me the light.” As the audience screamed through the rooftops, they expected an announcement about a re-recorded version of Swift's sixth album.
Instead, he sat down at the piano to move the audience with a melancholic mashup of “Tender” from “The Tortured Poets' Department” and “White Horse” from “Fearless (Taylor's Version).”
Both songs capture the numbness of lost love. One he wrote early in his career when fairy tale love seemed black and white to him. The other is from her latest album, Two Decades Later, depicting complicated love. Both are Swifties' post-break-up type of songs.
When she sang, “I'll find someone who'll actually treat me well,” the audience cheered. A teenage girl in Section 223 whispers to her mother, “She has Travis now”, referring to Swift's relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The singer spent one more night in Miami and then flew to New Orleans.
