'Sometimes it's like that': Liberty trolls Aces after WNBA Finals run
The New York Liberty knocked off the defending champion Las Vegas Aces on Sunday, winning 76-62 for a 3-1 series win.
Sabrina Ionescu had a team-high 22 points, while Breanna Stewart had 19 points and 14 rebounds, pushing New York to its sixth overall and second straight WNBA Finals appearance. Aces star A'ja Wilson had 19 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
New York's win ended Las Vegas' quest to become just the second WNBA team to win three straight championships.
The Liberty trolled the Aces multiple times on social media, including placing Timberland boots, a popular shoe in New York, with the Aces logo. New York also used a meme of popular influencer Drewsky to throw another virtual jab.

The Liberty will face the winner of the Minnesota Lynx and Connecticut Sun. New York has never won a WNBA championship.
