Sheryl Hines 'embarrassed' by RFK Jr.'s cheating scandal, has 'hardly spoken' to him since news broke: report

Sheryl Hines is reportedly “embarrassed” by her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s alleged affair with political reporter Olivia Nuzzi.

“He's embarrassed because he got caught,” a source told PEOPLE Friday.

The insider also claims that Hines, 59, and Kennedy, 70, have “barely spoken” since rumors swirled in late September that she and Nuzzi, 31, were “engaged in a private relationship” after she wrote about him for New York magazine.

Page Six has reached out to Hines' rep for comment.

People's report comes after a Page Six source reported earlier this week that the actress may be divorcing Kennedy.

However, our sources say his possible decision to leave Kennedy has more to do with his support for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

“The guy is a serial philanderer and he knew that coming in,” they reasoned.

On Wednesday, Mediaite reported that three women have come forward claiming to have had affairs with the politician over the past year.

His rep told Page Six the allegations are false.

As for Nuzzi, he was temporarily removed from his position as New York magazine's Washington correspondent on September 19 after confirming that he “engaged in a personal relationship with a former matter relevant to the 2024 campaign while he was reporting on the campaign.”

While Kennedy was not named by the publication or Nuzzi when he publicly apologized for his behavior, a source told The Post that the pair were “having sex around New Year's.”

Furthermore, an insider told Page Six that he “love bombed” her and made her fall deeply in love with him.

Her team denied they were romantically involved and said they only met once when Nuzzi interviewed her for a profile published last fall.

Nuzzi was previously engaged to Politico reporter Ryan Liza, but confirmed that she was put on vacation by New York magazine the same week.

Despite chatter that her marriage is going south due to recent allegations, Kennedy was spotted with her wedding band on in Los Angeles earlier this week while having a seemingly heated phone conversation.

The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actress, however, was photographed smiling in Milan, Italy last month without her wedding ring.
