Sean “Diddy” Combs Wants to Name Victims in His Sex-Trafficking Trial Defense — Even though He Already Has Too Many
A day after four Doss and two Jane Doss latest assault lawsuits were filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs, the 'Bad Boy for Life' performer now says “the government needs to identify his alleged victims in his sex trafficking case”.
“This case is unique because of Mr. Combs' celebrity status, wealth, and the publicity of his previously settled cases and the number of individuals who brought charges against him due to grand jury leaks and false inflammatory statements by DHS agents, as outlined in our previous motion,” said Mark Agnifilo of Combs. And defense attorneys led by Tenny Geragos wrote to U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian on Tuesday that “this has had a massive ripple effect, resulting in a stream of allegations from anonymous accusers, ranging from false. Totally absurd.”

“These swirling allegations have created a hysterical media circus that, if unchecked, will irreparably deprive Mr. Coombs of a fair trial, if they have not already,” the pair added, potentially tying the Justice Department for the next 54 will make it poisonous. Year-old Grammy winner.
“Without clarification from the government, Mr. Coombs has no way of knowing which allegations the government is relying on for purposes of indictment,” the letter continued, leaning toward the government over reach. “Other than Victim-1, Mr. Combs has no way of determining who the other unidentified alleged victims are. Both the number of potential alleged victims and the length of time alleged in the allegations weigh in favor of a detailed explanation.”
By “absolutely absurd,” the attorney meant that the six new lawsuits that were placed on the court's docket on Oct. 14 now join about 20 others, women and men, who have accused Sean Combs of drugging, beating them, threatening them, his so-called ” forcing them to participate in “Freak Offs” and raping them. The 'All About The Benjamins' rapper, who was arrested Sept. 15 and faces life behind bars if convicted at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn starting May 5, 2025, Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee promises he has more than 100 combs. The victims will soon come forward with their own cases.
US Attorney Damian Williams' office had no comment about today's defense filing. However, in a four-page missive, Agnifilo and Geragos said the other side “opposes the release of the names of the alleged victims at this stage.”
Incredibly, prosecutors are following standard protocol to keep the names of alleged sexual assault victims out of the public record for their safety. “It's all about shaming the alleged victims, it's part of the criminal act of the defense,” a law enforcement source with knowledge of the case told Deadline. “They'll try anything.”
Additionally, what makes this latest move so unique is that Combs and his defense team, on another level, politely say they already know by their own admissions who some of the alleged victims are.
Specifically, they admit, the defense knows who “Victim-1” is. They also know who “Individual-1” is, and the recipient of the November 19, 20203 phone call from Combs regarding the allegations against him and seeking his “friendship.”
As noted in the letter to the judge today and in the documents filed by the defense on October 9, it is clear that everyone knows that “Victim-1”. “
Victim-1” is Casey Ventura, the infamous BIG sideman's former longtime girlfriend.
Ventura sued Combs in an expedited settlement for years of assault and abuse. Hours after Ventura's very lively suit hit the court docket, Combs denied everything — as he has in every case so far. Then, he paid Ventura $30 million to kill the case within 24 hours. Ventura's claims about the violence the 'Me & You' singer lived with from Combs during their more than decade-long relationship were further substantiated in May when 2016 hotel security footage showed Combs pummeling Ventura in a towel in the corridor of an upmarket L.A. hotel. make public
The caller on the other end of the line with Combs last November brought up the nature and purpose of that particular call, with both sides disputing the validity of the feds' witness tampering allegations in various documents. Since everyone apparently knows who this person is, the defense has accused the feds of withholding evidence that would disprove the interception claims.
If the exploding cars are any indication, “Person-1” is rapper Kid Cudi, who in 2011/2012 was seen setting fire to one of his cars after a brief relationship with Ventura “multiple witnesses will testify to the accused bragging about his role in destroying the person. -1's car,” said a Sept. 17 letter from U.S. Attorney Damian Williams to the then-judge about the case.
Calls for “multiple witnesses” make it difficult to hide someone's identity, especially when it's already out there or months in advance.
As with their Oct. 9 claim that Homeland Security agents leaked the 2016 surveillance video this spring (which DD bought for $50,000 eight years ago), the defense appears to be contradicting its own facts. In the case of the hotel video leak, the defense buried in a footnote in their filing that prosecutors told them they never had the damning video and neither did DHS, which they choose to skid over in the past.
That said, in the months since federal agents raided Combs' L.A. and Miami homes, last month's allegations of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution cover many times and activities. “It could be interpreted as treating Mr. Combs' entire sexual history over the past sixteen years as part of the alleged criminal conspiracy,” defense attorneys said in writing to the judge today.
“Mr. Combs also expects the discovery to contain overwhelming evidence of consensual sexual activity – making it even more difficult for Mr Combs to confirm which of his previous sexual partners now claim, years later, that they felt coerced,” they added, with a grim irony. feeling
With that matter and the criminal case ongoing, Combs' lawyers are taking a third swing with their Oct. 8 motion to free their jailed client ahead of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Oddly enough, Combs' Instagram account on Tuesday also saw a post wishing her youngest daughter a happy birthday According to officials, Combs should have access to such social media. So either she is posting under the radar or someone else is posting for her with her IG password.
