Sean 'Diddy' Combs sexually assaulted pregnant woman, lawsuit alleges; Jailed rapper could face 50 more sex crime charges, says Texas lawyer
Sitting in Brooklyn's infamous Metropolitan Detention Center after being arrested last week for sex trafficking and more, Sean 'Diddy' Combs is now facing yet another sexual assault case, with dozens more possible.
In an action filed today in New York City, a Florida-based former model claims the 'Bad Boy for Life' actor intimidated her, drugged her, raped her and impregnated her over several years starting in 2021. . Although Jane Doe claimed that associates of Combs pressured her to have an abortion, she actually lost the child due to miscarriage.
Still, allegedly forced to use ketamine, drink alcohol, have sex with other men and women, the anonymous plaintiff also said Combs tried to control her and her movements in and out of her home. All of this sadly adds to a MO commonplace of nearly a dozen other people's allegations against the Grammy winner since ex-girlfriend Casey Ventura went public in November 2020 with claims of assault, abuse, violence and retaliation from Combs.
Also common to other lawsuits and allegations against Combs, the new 14-page filing details how after spending time with the rapper, the plaintiff would often “wake up with cuts and bruises but no memory of how he sustained her injuries.”
Attorney Joseph L. Represented by Ciaccio, managing partner of the personal injury practice of NYC-based firm Napoli Shkolnik, Jane Doe is seeking a slew of unspecified damages.
The latest lawsuit comes three days after Thalia Graves filed her own action in Empire State Court alleging that Combs and a bodyguard raped her in 2001 and have been selling footage of the assault for years.
As with almost all the allegations against Combs, it doesn't end there. “After the assault and on multiple occasions over the years, both Combs and Sherman contacted the plaintiff and warned her to remain silent, threatening retaliation, including the possible threat of the plaintiff losing custody of her son if the plaintiff ever disclosed the assault,” the three-claim civil said Gloria Allred-Rep. Graves from the lawsuit.
Arrested by the feds at a Manhattan hotel on September 16, Combs has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation for engaging in prostitution in an ongoing investigation by the office of US Attorney Damian Williams. The charges in the unsealed indictment could land the 54-year-old rapper in prison for the rest of his life if convicted.
Combs has pleaded not guilty in the DOJ case, denying nearly all of the claims against him over the past few months. Late last year, Combs initially called Ventura's demands “blatant blackmail,” before settling a day later for about $30 million. However, when security footage surfaced of Combs being beaten up in the halls of an LA hotel on May 17, the rapper quickly took to social media to apologize for his “inexcusable” behavior — an apology that not many people feel is genuine with others. The case is being filed.
For that, an NYC grand jury heard testimony today from a male sex worker who said he participated in Combs' sordid “freak offs,” sources tell me. US Attorney Williams clarified that the investigation into Combs is ongoing. This latest testimony could lead to more charges, though nothing has been decided yet, I'm told.
Even in the unlikely event more charges aren't coming from the Fed, it looks like more charges are coming from the Lone Star State.
In a social media post Friday, Houston attorney Tony Buzbee said his firm has been “named lead counsel for claims on behalf of more than fifty victims of sexual assault and battery at the hands of Sean 'Diddy' Combs and his associates.” Promising a press conference “early next week” and urging others to come forward, Buzby said: “This group of brave people includes both men and women; many were minors at the time of the abuse. Some of these brave people reported the incident to the police, others Didn't.”
Neither Buzbee nor Ciaccio responded to requests for comment on the matters they are handling, respectively Representatives for Combs also did not respond to requests for comment by the time of the complaint. If any of them respond, this post will be updated.
Denied release on $50 million bond and home detention on Sept. 18, Combs still has no trial date in the federal case, but it appears both prosecutors and the defense want to move quickly to get things before a jury.
