Sean 'Diddy' Combs faces more sexual assault allegations

Another lawsuit filed in New York against hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs accuses a woman of drugging and sexually assaulting her.

The 12th and last accused alleged that after she became pregnant, she was harassed by her accomplices to induce an abortion and later aborted.

Mr. Combs was arrested last week and is currently in federal custody, facing felony charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.

He continues to deny all allegations of criminal wrongdoing. The BBC has contacted Mr Combs' lawyer Mark Agnifilo for comment on the latest civil case.

In the latest lawsuit filed against him in New York, a woman known as Jane Doe described repeated physical and sexual abuse over a four-year period beginning in late 2020.

She says she first met the rapper, who paid for her travel, at a “foreign location” and the two began seeing each other “regularly,” according to the lawsuit.

In her legal complaint, the woman alleged that she was drugged by Mr Combs, who then had sex with her without her consent while she was unconscious.

Legal documents claim that Mr Combs videotaped the woman having sex without her permission and pressured her into having group sex with others.

In one instance, allegedly occurring in July 2022, the lawsuit describes the woman being forced to take the drug ketamine, which caused her to “black out” and “pass out throughout the night.”

Shortly thereafter, the woman allegedly found out she was pregnant. According to the lawsuit, when the woman told Mr. Combs about the pregnancy, an associate of Mr. Combs harassed her into having an abortion. The woman later suffered a miscarriage, it said.

The woman also alleged that Mr Combs made threatening jokes that made her fear for her safety, said he monitored her location and phone conversations and said he discouraged her from working so he could pay her an allowance instead.

“No one is above the law. “Fame and wealth do not protect Sean 'DD' Combs from serious allegations of sex trafficking and abuse,” the woman's lawyers, Joseph El Ciacio and Mary Napoli, said in a statement to the BBC.

Mr. Combs has faced multiple charges over the past year following a lawsuit filed last November by his ex-girlfriend, Casey Ventura, alleging physical and sexual abuse. Ms. Ventura's lawsuit was settled by Mr. Combs for an undisclosed sum.

The rapper is also facing criminal charges as federal prosecutors accuse him of “creating a criminal enterprise” in which he “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him to satisfy his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his behavior”.

The rapper has pleaded not guilty to three felony charges against him.

The BBC has contacted Mr Combs' lawyer for comment on the allegations in this latest case.

Mr Combs has denied all allegations in 11 previous cases.
