Ravens-Bucs inactive Vita Via, Rashad Sada is better to go
The hamstring ailment that landed Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive lineman Vita Vea on the injury report late in the week will not keep him out of Monday night's game against the Baltimore Ravens. Additionally, starting running back Rashad White's foot injury from last weekend's game in New Orleans will cost him only one out; He returned to being active in week seven.
Vea and White were two of four players listed as questionable on the Buccaneers' final injury report, and all four have been cleared to play. That list also included wide receiver Trey Palmer, who cleared the NFL's concussion protocol and will return to action after missing two games, and defensive lineman Ernest Brown, who was activated from injured reserve Saturday after recovering from a rib injury.
The Buccaneers and Ravens submitted their inactive lists Monday at 6:45 pm ET, 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff of their game at Raymond James Stadium. The Buccaneers currently have 52 players on their active roster after a series of roster moves earlier in the afternoon, but now have 53 players for Monday's game after promoting punter Trenton Gill from the practice squad. That means the Bucs had to name five inactives to get down to the game-day limit of 48.
The Ravens will be without running back Rashaan Ali, who made his NFL debut in week six after being activated from injured reserve but later suffered an ankle injury. Two reserve defenders, linebacker Malik Harrison and defensive tackle Broderick Washington, are also out with groin and knee ailments, respectively.
