Preliminary results UFC 306: O'Malley vs. Dvalishvili

Cutting off Van's lead leg and mixing his weapons well throughout the first round, Chairage raced to a commanding lead. But in the second, Van rallied, hitting Chairez to the body and seemingly putting the aggressive Mexican on the brink of a finish, before Chairez connected with a spinning back fist that made the second half of the round competitive and close. In the third, Vann, who took the fight on short notice, became the newer of the two, taking the fight to Chairez and putting him on deck to avoid the final round.

The judges were asked to sort things out again, and when ten and nine were counted, it was Van who came away with the victory. After a stop in Denver in July, it was a remarkable bounce-back display for the talented 22-year-old from Myanmar, who moves to 4-1 in the UFC with the win.
