PFT's Week 6 2024 NFL Picks, Florio vs. Sims

Good news. . . Sims were only 6-8 years old last week. bad news . . I wasn't much better, at 7-7.

It was a rough week, with lots of unexpected (by us) results. I actually did better against the spread than straight on the 7-6-1. (Chris was 5-8-1.)

For several years, I was 48-30. Chris 42-36.

Against the spread, I am 44-31-3. Chris 33-42-3.

We only disagreed on two games this weekend – including the last one. All picks, as always, will appear below.

And if you plan on making bets, two things. One, do it responsibly. Two, don't listen to us.

49ers at Seahawks (-3.5)

This is truly a must-win game for San Fran, which is 0-2 in the division and 0-3 in the conference.

Florio: 49ers, 24-20.

Sims: 49ers, 31-21.

Bear Jaguar (-2)

The Bears put together a formidable offense.

Florio: Bierce, 27-23.

Sims: Bears, 24-20.

Commander of the Ravens (-6.5)

It's the game of the day. Can the Ravens avoid their fourth quarter failure?

Florio: Ravens, 34-31.

Sims: Ravens, 34-23.

Cardinals at Packers (-5)

Jordan Love is healthy, and the Packers need to start stringing wins together.

Florio: Packers, 27-17.

Sims: Packers, 28-24.

Texans at Patriots (-7)

A quarterback change is too little and too late for the Patriots. And at the right time for Texans.

Florio: Texans, 24-13.

Sims: Texans, 30-17.

Buccaneers at Saints (-3.5)

The Bucs need to reinvent themselves.

Florio: Buccaneers, 31-20.

Sims: Buccaneers, 31-14.

Browns at Eagles (-9)

If the Eagles lose this one, it's going to be a long year.

Florio: Eagles, 28-14.

Sims: Eagles, 34-17.

Colts at Titans (-2.5)

Tennessee's defense is stout. Will they get quality quarterback play?

Florio: Titans, 20-17.

Sims: Titans, 17-14.

Chargers at Broncos (-3)

The Broncos are quietly becoming contenders.

Florio: Broncos, 21-17.

Sims: Chargers, 23-13.

Steelers at Raiders (-3)

My guess is Russell Wilson will be back. Against the struggling Raiders, this is a great opportunity for Pittsburgh.

Florio: Steelers, 24-14.

Sims: Steelers, 24-20.

Falcons (-6) at Panthers

It looks like the Falcons are ready to make a run.

Florio: Falcons, 40-20.

Sims: Falcons, 27-23.

Cowboys at Lions (-3)

The Lions are rested and ready — and overall, better than the Cowboys.

Florio: Lion, 27-23.

Sims: Lions, 34-24.

Giants at Bengals (-3.5)

If the Bengals don't win this one, it might be time to lightly poke the thorn in their skin.

Florio: Bengals, 30-21.

Sims: Bengals, 31-21.

Bills at Jets (-2.5)

Ambassadors need some diplomatic immunity.

Florio: Bills, 21-13.

Sims: Jets, 20-17.
