Pepper was arraigned in Quincy District Court, where a not guilty plea was entered. He was held on $2,500 bail and ordered to stay away from the alleged victim.
“There's evidence that I've already seen, including the videotape evidence, that casts real doubt on the allegations,” said Mark Brofsky, Peppers' attorney.
“It's definitely weird to hear, something about that, because I've never seen or heard anything about how he's doing here in this community,” said neighbor Terrence Brown.
