No practice for Justin Herbert on Wednesday
Word was Wednesday morning that Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert will be The team's injury report, however, will determine his level of participation in practice.
The Chargers reported this information on Wednesday afternoon. Herbert did not participate in the team's practice after suffering an ankle injury in last Sunday's win over the Panthers. Herbert did not miss any snaps with the injury, but did go for X-rays after the game.
Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said he expects Herbert's ankle keep being good As the week unfolds, but no predictions have been made about this weekend. Herbert will not play against the Steelers when Easton sticks.
Linebacker Junior Colson (hamstring), edge rusher Bud Dupree (illness), wide receiver Joshua Palmer (elbow, calf), and cornerback Ja'sir Taylor (calf) were held out of practice. Edge rusher Joey Bosa (he), safety Alohi Gilman (knee), tight end Hayden Hurst (knee), and edge rusher Khalil Mack (rest) were listed as limited participants.
