The NFL Week 6 injury report headlines a few young stars who went down Sunday and could have a big impact in the NFL's toughest division.
For the first time since the current division format was adopted in 2002, four teams from the same division had at least four wins over six weeks. That division is the NFC North, home to the Detroit Lions, who are dealing with a major blow after their 47-9 blowout win over the Cowboys. Speaking of those Cowboys, all is not well in Dallas — at least when the team is playing at home, where they're giving up nearly 40 points per game.
Here's a look at some of the NFL's top stories coming out of Week 6.
Aidan Hutchinson is expected to miss the rest of the season
The Lions' pass-rushing specialist leads the NFL in sacks with 6.5, but was carted off the field Sunday in Dallas with what was confirmed to be a broken tibia. He had surgery in Dallas and is expected to miss the remainder of the 2024 season, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Hutchinson had 11.5 sacks in 2023 and made his first Pro Bowl last season.
Is the heat rising on Mike McCarthy in Dallas?
If you look at the Dallas Cowboys' road results this year, you'll find a 3-0 team that, while they have some things to clean up, have managed to pull off several close wins and even defeats. 4-2 Steelers at Pittsburgh. But at home, the Cowboys have rarely been competitive, and for all but two quarters, have been completely stymied on home turf. The Cowboys have given up 119 points — 39.7 points per game — at home in three games this season.
After the worst home loss of the Jerry Jones era — coincidentally on his 82nd birthday — Jones said he wasn't considering a coaching change, even as questions swirled about Mike McCarthy. The Cowboys are off in Week 7, and will play their next two games on the road.
Marvin Harrison Jr. suffered a concussion vs. the Packers
One of the NFL's most exciting rookies stumbled and had to be sidelined during the Arizona Cardinals' 34-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Harrison didn't catch a pass when he was sidelined with the injury, but he has four touchdown receptions and 279 receiving yards in the first six games of his rookie season.

Jets reportedly give Hesson Reddick 'short window' to seek trade
Reddick, who has dogged the Jets with salary demands since they traded for him in March, has a new agent and that agent is reportedly trying to get him out of New York and to another team.
According to sources, the Jets have given Hassan Redick and his representatives a short window to seek a trade. His new representative, Drew Rosenhaus, has been contacting teams over the past 12 hours to gauge interest.
This injury report for the New Orleans Saints is, well, concerning. QB Derek Carr (oblique), LB Pete Werner (hamstring), WR Rashid Shaheed (knee), WR Chris Olave (knee), OL Cesar Ruiz (knee) and OL Lucas Patrick (chest) were all listed as DNP on Monday.
The Saints will host the Broncos on Thursday night.
Report: Jaguars trade DL Roy Robertson-Harris to Seahawks
Seattle receives a 2026 late-round pick in exchange, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafalo. Robertson-Harris will have to make the 10-hour trip from London to Seattle before Sunday's Seahawks game in Atlanta.
Commanders Pro Bowl DT Jonathan Allen is reportedly facing a season-ending injury
Washington Commanders defensive tackle Jonathan Allen has suffered a pectoral injury that may require season-ending surgery, NFL Network reported.
Allen is reportedly seeking a second opinion on the injury. He suffered the injury in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The exact nature of the injury is not clear.

Titans RB Tyjae Spears week to week
Titans head coach Brian Callahan told reporters that Tyza Spears is considered week to week to return with a hamstring injury. If Spears misses time, that means a potential workhorse role for starting running back Tony Pollard, who has 421 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns in five games since joining the Titans from the Cowboys this season. Spears has 190 total yards and a touchdown as Pollard's backup.
Miami HC Mike McDaniel says he expects QB Tua Tagovailo to return in 2024
Good news for the Miami Dolphins: Quarterback Tua Tagovailo could return to the field sometime this calendar year, head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters Monday. Tagovailoa, who suffered the concussion on Sept. 15 against the Buffalo Bills, was placed on injured reserve two days later.
Tagovailoa could return to practice on Oct. 23 after his IR stint ends, but McDaniel said a return this week is unlikely.
“As far as the timeline goes, I know he's not playing this week,” McDaniel said at a news conference. “I hope to see him playing football in 2024, but as it stands, we'll let the process continue.”

Jaguars HC Doug Pederson told reporters today that RB Travis Etienne Jr. is now considered week-to-week with his hamstring injury.
Reddick hired new agents who have already spoken with the Jets, and they plan to have more discussions Monday night when the Jets take on the Bills.
“We look forward to working with the Jets to resolve this as soon as possible,” Rosenhaus told ESPN's Adam Schefter. “Hasan wants to be a New York Jet for next year and our goal is to make that happen.”
