Lucas Coley, French-American rapper, dies at 27! Online
The rap world is in mourning.
Lucas Coley—the French-American rapper behind the 2016 viral hit “I Just Wanna”—has died at the age of 27, his manager shared on Oct. 3.
“I will be in mourning,” read a statement posted on Instagram Stories by I Discover Stars, the agency that represents Kohli. “My brother is gone. Don't wait until someone dies to give them flowers.”
In a separate statement since deleted, Collie's manager said that “I have a hole in my heart right now.”
“Being your manager was one of the reasons I'm here,” he wrote on Instagram, per our weekly. “Honestly, Lucas hasn't set it yet because I refuse to believe you're gone.”
The cause of death was not disclosed.
According to NBC New York, Coley got his start on Vine more than a decade ago. He went on to publish music in both English and French on YouTube, gaining nearly half a million subscribers.
