Lana Del Rey says new husband Jeremy Dufresne is 'the one and only': 'We're so happy'

Lana del Rey newlyweds are happy!

The “Hard” singer, 39, recently enjoyed some quality time in Louisiana with Jeremy Dufresne, 49, whom she married on Thursday, Sept. 26.

In an Instagram video shared by a fan page, Del Rey and Dufresne sweet talk each other in what appears to be a doc. At one point, Del Rey rests her head on Dufresne's shoulder as he kisses the top of her head.

They continue to laugh and talk as Del Rey rings on his phone. The video then cuts to footage of the husband and wife smiling and talking to women who appear to be workers outside a building.

In the comments section of the video, captured on Sunday, September 29, Del Rey shared her thoughts on the paparazzi and noted that Dufresne is the highlight of her life.

“Jeremy is the one and only and amazing. And we're so happy,” added Del Rey.

Although the relationship between the singer and the Alligator tour guide appears to be moving quickly, the two have known each other for quite some time.

A source told PEOPLE on Friday, Sept. 27, that their “whirlwind romance” has worked out for the couple in their own way.

“They initially met for the first time a few years ago and then reconnected earlier this year,” the source said. “It was kind of a whirlwind romance, but Lana's closest friends expected her to get married.”

They added, “Jeremy is different from the men Lana has met in the entertainment world. He's a great guy. He's charming and charismatic in a Southern way, very much a gentleman and he treats Lana really well. He's an old soul.”
