Khloe Kardashian Reveals She Got Facial Fillers 9 Months After Removing Melanoma Tumor From Her Cheek
Khloé Kardashian continues to update fans on her skin healing journey following surgery to remove a melanoma tumor on her cheek in 2022.
11 October, the the kardashians The star took to Snapchat to share that she had facial filler injections after the operation left a dent in her cheek.
“As a result of the surgery, and my incredible doctor removing the tumor, I ended up with an indentation on the side of my face,” Kardashian wrote in the now-expired post, per E!. “I waited 9 months after surgery to fill in the indentation.”
The mother-of-two explained that she let some time pass before taking the injection because she “wanted to make sure everything was medically safe” and her doctor gave her the “go ahead”.
E! Kardashian also shared before-and-after selfies posted to show off the look of her cheekbones after fillers.

Kardashian first opened up about the health scare two years ago after being asked about her facial bandages.
“After noticing a small scratch on my face and assuming it was something secondary like a zit, I decided to get it biopsied after 7 months,” she said, adding that she had two biopsies from separate doctors. Both of those who got it thought the bump was “incredibly rare” for someone her age.
He documented his battle in the third season The Kardashians. “Melanoma is deadly,” he admitted in the confessional. “It's a lot more serious than I expected.”
She recounts her past encounter with skin cancer, inspired to share her story to remind others to get frequent checkups.
“At 19, I had melanoma on my back, and I had surgery to remove that, too, so I'm pre-screened for melanoma. We should always be screened, even those who don't have it,” Kardashian said. At the time “I'm someone who wears sunscreen every day, religiously so no one is immune to these things. Please take this seriously and do your annual checkups along with regular self-exams.”
In November 2022, Kardashian took to X (formerly Twitter) to discuss how her incision was healing, noting that she was undergoing laser treatment and wearing a small bandage over her face to prevent her scar tissue from expanding.
