Kenneth Walker III and George Fant inactive for Seahawks Week 2 game vs. Patriots, Jerome Baker and Tyrell Dodson active
FOXBOROUGH—Right tackle Kenneth Walker III and right tackle George Fant are inactive for the Seahawks' Week 2 game against the Patriots after both were listed as questionable on Friday's injury report.
The Seahawks, however, will have linebackers Tyrell Dodson and Jerome Baker, both of whom were questionable on the injury report.
Walker and Fant were both injured in Seattle's Week 1 win over the Broncos, with Fant exiting in the first quarter with a knee injury and Walker injuring his oblique late in the game. Zach Charbonnet, who started two games as a rookie, is expected to start in place of Walker, while Stone Forsythe will replace Fant at right tackle.
Also out with injuries are linebacker Uchenna Nwosu and tight end Pharaoh Brown, who both missed last week's game.
With Walker and Fant unable to play, the Seahawks promoted running back George Holani and tackle McClendon Curtis from the practice squad to add depth to their respective positions. Sunday will mark the NFL debut for Holani, an undrafted rookie from Boise State.
In last week's changes, rookie center Jalen Sandel is active as Connor Williams' backup, while Olu Oluwatimi is inactive.
