“He Fooled Hollywood For Years”: Peacock Releases Docusery Based On 'Grey's Anatomy' Author Case


The Elizabeth Finch case was one that shocked the entertainment industry, and now a three-part documentary will bring the story to a wider audience.

Streamer Peacock revealed on Tuesday that it is finalizing a three-part documentary on the former's story Grey's Anatomy The writer and executive producer, whose harrowing tale of bone cancer inspired at least one storyline on the ABC juggernaut until its 2022 debut was thrown into doubt. Neither did Finch's attorney Grey's Anatomy Distributor ABC responded to a request for comment on the series.

Anatomy of a lie Executive produced and co-directed by Evgenia Peretz, writer of a two-parter Vanity Fair series about Finch's time in Hollywood and relationship with Baer. David Shisgal (Very young girls, real life) also co-directed. The series is produced by Vanity Fair Studios and Dorothy Saint Pictures.
