Denzel Washington once 'kicked out' of Sean 'Diddy' Combs party, shouted 'you don't respect anybody': report
Denzel Washington had fighting words for Sean “Diddy” Combs, according to a new report.
The Oscar-winning actor, 69, “screamed” at Combs in 2003 before he was “kicked out” of an all-night party hosted by the music mogul, an unnamed source told Us Weekly.
The outlet describes the insider as someone who was “friendly” with Diddy in the “early 2000s.”
“Denzel yelled, 'You respect nobody,'” the source claimed.
“[Denzel and his wife, Pauletta] Partyed till dawn [with Diddy]And they saw something and stormed off,” the insider continued.
The Post has reached out to representatives for Washington and Combs for comment.
Coombs is currently facing three counts of transportation for engaging in sex trafficking, racketeering and prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
After Combs' arrest at a New York City hotel on September 16, federal prosecutors unsealed charges against the rapper, alleging that he hosted “freaks” — “elaborate and manufactured” sex parties that he allegedly lured women to attend for his enjoyment and for his guests.
Combs was known for throwing wild and extravagant parties long before his arrest. The expensive affair has always been populated with A-list celebrities, including Washington.
Diddy's $3 million 40th birthday “party of the century” at New York's Plaza Hotel in 2009 was among the rapper's famous bashes attended by the “Equalizer” star.
Although Washington has never spoken publicly about Combs' soiree, comedian Brandon T. Jackson said the “Fences” actor always advised him to leave Hollywood parties “before the devil gets there.”
“Denzel always told me, [when] We're at the party, 'cause you leave 30 minutes before the devil gets there. OK?' Always remember that Denzel will leave parties in a hurry,” Jackson said on the “Breaking the Machine” podcast in January.
A clip of the interview has gone viral since Combs' arrest.
Some celebrities have spoken out about Diddy's parties, including Marlon Wayans, who said he always left early.
A former publicity director for Clive Davis' Arista Records recently shared that “security” went out the window at Combs' party “after a certain hour.”
“My Spidey sense was always on high alert,” Dr. Lajoyce Brookshire recalled of the star's parties when speaking to TMZ for their documentary special, “The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment.”
“And I know there's no protection after a certain hour when you're drinking and people behind you are doing drugs in the bathroom, and 2 or 3 people walk out of the bathroom at the same time… so maybe that could happen? Absolutely. Did I see it? No. , I was never late to the party to see,” she shared.”
Combs is currently in the Brooklyn Detention Center while he awaits trial.
