DC Superhero and TV Star Endorses Trump, Admits Possible 'Career Suicide'

Zachary Levy, two “Shazam!” The star of the superhero movie and TV spy comedy “Chuck,” has endorsed Donald Trump for president in a move he calls potentially “career suicide.” (See the video below.)

“In a perfect world … I probably would have voted for Bobby,” the actor said of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s dropping of an independent presidential bid. But now that Levy is casting his lot with the Republican nominee, he recaps Trump's America Tour audience in Dearborn, Michigan, on Saturday.

“We're here to make sure we're going to take this country back,” Levy said. “We're going to make it great again. We're going to make it healthy again. And so, I stand with Bobby, and I stand with Tulsi, and I stand with those who stand with President Trump.”

“He's going to get us there because he has the support and the support and the wisdom and the knowledge and the fight that Robert Kennedy Jr. and former representative Tulsi Gabbard have,” the actor continued.

As his discussion with Gabbard and Kennedy concluded, Levy said he received a positive response by voicing his support for the Republican nominee. “When I came out and said I was supporting President Trump by supporting Tulsi and Bobby. … In my industry, as you can probably imagine, Hollywood is a very, very liberal town and it can very well constitute career suicide, so I'm glad I did it with you,” he said.

Levy said he grew up in a conservative Christian family and was taught a healthy distrust of government. He said supporters of Democratic nominee Kamala Harris are not evil, but are being lied to.

Levy joins celebrities such as Dennis Quaid, Amber Rose and Joe Germanotta – Lady Gaga's restaurateur father – who are publicly supporting the coup-mongering Trump, who was convicted of 34 felony counts in his hush money trial.
