'Dancing With The Stars' Halloween Night Season's Top 10 Results – And One Shocking Elimination

Spoiler alert: This story contains spoilers for the Oct. 29 episode of “Dancing with the Stars.”

For Halloween, the “Dancing with the Stars” celebrities took on their nightmares, each performing a routine inspired by their greatest fears — snakes, boogeymen and killers, dolls, the dark and vampires. And their biggest fears may be allayed as everyone brings their A-games.

Daniela Karagach told partner Dwight Howard that she still wanted to complete an entire routine without a mistake — so she did it for their very formidable contemporaries for “Ring Around the Rosie.” After their impressive routine, both contestants broke down in tears, explaining that they had had a tough week. It paid off – they got their first 10 of the season and it came from Carrie Ann Inaba.

It was the top 10 of the night, with Carrie Ann giving the highest scores to Danny Amendola and Whitney Carson; Jane Tran and Sasha Farber; Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson; Stephen Nedorowski and Riley Arnold. While Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli used their 9 pedals for most of the night, Bruno did 10 days for Jay and Jenna to top the leaderboard.

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong danced the final routine of the night. Even though they had immunity from last week, which meant they didn't have to compete in the dance competition, Chandler didn't feel too safe after Carrie Ann said their Viennese waltz was less than perfect… until they got their scores. Carrie Ann gave a 9, but the pair earned 10s from both Bruno and Derek, Derek's first of the season.

After the individual dances, it was time for three dance-offs: Dwight and Daniella beat Ilona and Alan to “Ghostbusters; Jen and Sasha beat Stephen and Riley with their salsa to “Jump in the Line”; and finally, to “Time Warp.” Joey and Jenner Jive defeated Danny and Witney.

In the end, Chandler and Joey were tied at the top of the leaderboard, while Ilona was at the bottom. After combining the judges' scores and audience votes, Jen and Sasha were sent home in shock.

Next week, there will be no new episodes of “Dancing with the Stars” because Tuesday, Nov. 5 is election night.
