Country star Zach Bryan apologizes to 'everyone I let down' as he announces split from girlfriend
Zach Bryan took responsibility for not being “perfect” in his relationship with his now-ex Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia after confirming on Tuesday that they had broken up.
“Brianna and I broke up and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,” the country star, 28, began in a lengthy post on her Instagram Story.
She added, “He's loved me unconditionally for so long and I'll always thank him for that. I've had an incredibly difficult year personally and struggled through some serious things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us. We're going our separate ways. to go.”
“I'm not perfect and never will be,” he admits.
Jack Bryan doesn't like his 'country musician' label
He asked fans to respect LaPaglia's privacy and “if it's in your heart,” his too.
“With everything and everyone I disappoint, I'm sorry. I try my best in everything. I'm a failure of people who love me and mostly myself,” he concluded.
“With all that I am and all that I disappoint, I am sorry that I have tried my best. I have failed those who love me and most of all myself.”
A day after Brian's admission, LaPaglia posted a cryptic handwritten note on notebook paper that read: “Eventually you'll see that life goes on, even though you don't want it to.”
The note continued, “Days will pass and the world will go by when you tell it to stop. You will believe that life is cruel to go on with your feet stuck. You will find people and moments to blame for your concrete feet. Then there will come a morning when Hoping to show you that you wake up and realize that life isn't cruel, you can too.
Following Bryan's revelation that they had broken up, LaPaglia took to her Instagram Story to once again inform fans that she plans to take a break from social media.
“Hey guys I'm feeling really blind right now,” he wrote on Tuesday. “Going off social media for a while and trying to heal in person, when I'm ready I'll be back and ready to talk. I love you guys. Thank you so much for all your kind words. Remember you are loved and all. It will always be okay.”
LaPaglia reiterated that she felt “blindsided” in a YouTube video where she went into more detail, saying she didn't know she was going to post about their breakup.
“I just woke up to Zach posting on his Instagram that we broke up,” she says in the video. “I had no idea the post was going up. He didn't text me. He didn't call me. I just woke up to a bunch of texts, 'Are you okay?' And I say, 'Is my father dead?' And so I was completely blindsided by it.”

She added that she had been crying for about five days.
He said he couldn't understand how a person could love someone “so unconditionally through stuff that you shouldn't because you just love them, as you see the good in them” and still “be discarded in a matter of days.”
LaPaglia said she doesn't want to go into details about the breakup yet because she needs to “personally heal” first.
“I'm going to be OK, I'm going to be OK, I'm obviously really hurt right now,” he added.
In July, she posted a carousel of photos of the two of them together, calling him her “forever person.”
“A year filled with tougher love than I ever imagined and I'm laughing harder than any year before,” she captioned the post. “You made me appreciate all the things that were always in front of me. You brought me back to my family and you helped me love myself again.”
She added, “There's nothing I wouldn't do for you. My person forever. I love you my Zachary.”
Brian also posted a carousel of photos of the two of them on his 25th birthday in June.
“25 years of making people laugh, bringing kindness into the house and carrying the weight of everyone around you is as easy as it gets,” he wrote. “You don't judge at first glance, you have opinions that you stick to and you warm up every day no matter the weather.
I love you Briana, I pray I can say this in 25 more years.”
