College football bowl predictions in Week 4: Texas, Ohio State improve seeds; Kansas State jumped
No. 12 Northern Illinois at No. 5 Georgia
No. 11 USC No. 6 Ole Miss
No. 10 Penn State at No. 7 Oregon
No. 9 Alabama No. 8 Tennessee
Northern Illinois moved into the No. 12 spot, replacing Texas State after the Bobcats' mid-week loss to Arizona State. And Georgia, formerly No. 1, is no longer the projected SEC champion after Week 3 after a narrow win at Kentucky. That title belongs to the Texas Longhorns, who once again passed the eye test after an injury to quarterback Quin Yers. As for the other seeds, it wouldn't be surprising if they were tweaked a bit so there isn't a pair of conference matchups in the opening round (Penn State-Oregon and Alabama-Tennessee).
