Christina Aguilera has opened up about her fashion past and revealed she has some regrets — but they're not what you think.
It's her high heels, not her chaps from her dirty days, where she wore peak-Y2K ensembles.
Christina, 43, said she ruined her knees and feet with 'all this high heel nonsense' after years of performing in huge shoes.
The beautiful singer spoke with British musician Roy, 26, for a Rolling Stone interview that was published Monday, as they discussed their struggles with the music industry and what they admire about each other.
The two female musicians also discussed their various sartorial choices on stage – including footwear.

The pop star has always had a penchant for high heels throughout her career, whether she's performing, hitting the red carpet or posing for photo shoots.
Even now, the mother of two wears sky-high boots or platforms on stage.
'I took out the cartilage in my knee,' said Christina.
However, the 2000s pop star still praised Roy for kicking off his shoes on stage and said, 'I love that about you.'
But don't expect Christina to ditch her signature designer footwear anytime soon, as she admits, 'I didn't have the balls to do it.'
Raye is also not a fan of wearing heels or any kind of shoes on stage while accepting awards.
The London-born singer, whose full name is Rachel Agatha Keane, told Christina, 'I think when I'm wearing shoes, I'm thinking about wearing shoes, asking, 'Is this weird?'
Christina also spoke about the beginning of her career, when there was a certain look for a pop star because it was 'a really big pop boom'.
'I took out the cartilage in my knee,' Christina admitted to Roy, as she's been wearing high heels like the ones above since the start of her career.
Christina ditched her shoes at the 2004 Grammy Awards, but otherwise opted for sky high heels on stage.

Christina also spoke about the beginning of her career, when there was a certain look for a pop star because it was 'a really big pop boom' as other artists such as Britney Spears, Mandy Moore and Jessica Simpson were also coming up at that time.
'I felt like my voice was choking,' the burlesque star revealed when the two singers were caught in her living room.
'You're going to run into situations where you have no creative control or you're in a position where your hands are tied,' says Christina, a self-described 'control freak'.
'When my hands feel so tight and I feel like there's no room to breathe, that's when I start to suffer,' the Grammy winner continued.
Christina has been making waves lately for her looks, as she looks younger than ever, especially on social media.
Fans think she's entering her 'undetectable era' when it comes to subtle beauty changes that are noticeable but impossible to pinpoint.
On Instagram, Christina's comments section is full of people who say she looks like she's aging in reverse and is back to her Y2K self, with many commenting on her recent weight loss.
Christina's 9.8 million followers were impressed by her photo, with one writing, 'If you told me straight up that this was filmed 25 years ago, I would have believed you 100 percent,' and another saying, 'You look better than you did 25 years ago.'
