Cybertruck owners have had to deal with multiple recalls since the vehicle went on sale in November. In June, a recall was issued to address issues with trim pieces that could come loose and front windshield wipers that could fail. Two months before that, some Cybertrucks were recalled because of Accelerator pedal may stick.
In a recent recall, the company told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that the truck's display screens could go blank for up to 8 seconds when a driver shifted into reverse. For the US these screens must be activated with a rearview within 2 seconds of shifting into reverse.
