30 years later, the Oscar-nominated star “still got it,” reciting the iconic Bible verse Ezekiel 25:17 from memory in one of her standout scenes at a memorial post for Quentin Tarantino. Pulp Fiction.
In the clip for the seminal crime-comedy's 30th anniversary, Jackson can be seen sitting on a couch casually reciting the passage that describes the extent of God's wrath and vengeance. Nari stumbling over his words and occasionally changing his tone for dramatic effect, the veteran actor recites it in its entirety.
“The path of the righteous is surrounded by the sins of the selfish and the tyranny of the wicked. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and goodwill, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and seeker of lost children. And those who try to poison and destroy my brothers I will strike you with great vengeance and fierce anger. And you will know my name is Lord when I take vengeance on you!”

In the movie, Jackson's Jules recites the passage after he and Vincent (Travolta) arrive at an apartment to retrieve a briefcase for their crime boss Marcellus Wallace (Rhames) from business partner Brett and his friends. The scene ends with a bloody mess, as Jules berates Brett for attempting to double-cross his kingpin.
