How Did The Harris Campaign React?
Harris’ official campaign account on social media shared a clip of the former president slowly swaying to the music on stage, and wrote: “Trump appears lost, confused, and frozen on stage as multiple songs play for 30+ minutes and the crowd pours out of the venue early.” Harris herself shared the post, adding: “Hope he’s okay.” In a follow-up post, the campaign mocked Trump by pointing out that he told his supporters to “go out and vote on ‘January 5th’” and “Rambled about Hannibal Lecter, a cannibal serial killer who is not real.”

Trump’s National Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared a clip of him dancing to the YMCA on X with the text “DJ TRUMP!” The Trump Campaign Spokesperson Steven Cheung first tweeted “Something very special is happening in Pennsylvania right now at the Trump townhall,” and then wrote “Total lovefest at the PA townhall! Everyone was so excited they were fainting so Donald Trump turned to music.”
