Nicole Kidman apparently pushed Salma Hayek away in a heated confrontation at the Balenciaga fashion show

What's the deal with Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek?

The actresses were involved in what appeared to be a tense moment at the Balenciaga show during Paris Fashion Week two weeks ago.

In a video that went viral on social media over the weekend, Hayek, 58, tried to turn to the other camera after Kidman, 57, took a group photo with Katy Perry on Sept. 30.

But Kidman pushed Hayek's hand away and focused on Perry, 39.

Hayek, whose husband Francois-Henri Pinault owns Balenciaga, had a tense look on her face after the awkward exchange with Kidman, who is the company's brand ambassador.

After greeting Perry, Kidman briefly exchanged words with Hayek.

As she posed with Perry, the “Desperado” actress was heard telling Kidman, “Yes please. Suggestion.”

“You don't need it,” Kidman responded off-camera.

“I do,” returned Hayek.

The Post has reached out to representatives for Hayek and Kidman for comment.

Fans speculated on X (formerly Twitter) about what happened between the two stars in Paris.

“Nicole looks out of it. Looks like Salma is trying to help her,” one person tweeted.

“He definitely felt like he upset Salma. Alas,” said another person.

“Apparently he did not realize that Salma was trying to physically move him. He said something with a faint smile, then let himself go when Salma didn't take her hand off him,” tweeted someone else.

Most fans who watched the video also insisted they didn't hear Kidman tell Hayek to “don't touch me.”

On October 1, the day after the incident, Hayek shared a photo with Kidman at the Balenciaga show on Instagram.

In the picture, Kidman looked down at the floor with a smile on her face as she posed next to Salma, who was looking right into the camera.

Hayek's post also included photos of her with Perry and Lindsay Lohan, as well as several solo shots where she showed off her all-black outfit.

“Finally last night at my Paris Fashion Week 2025 grand finale…👏 Great show @katyperry @lindsaylohan @nicolekidman for Balenciaga & Demna,” Hayek captioned her post.

Kidman attended Paris Fashion Week just weeks after her mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, died at the age of 84.

The “Big Little Lies” star pulled out of the Venice Film Festival in early September due to the death of her mother.

“The family is heartbroken and asks for privacy at this time,” Kidman's rep said in a statement to The Post at the time.

Kidman later released a statement of her own on Instagram and thanked fans for the “outpouring of love and kindness” they had shown the actress and her sister Antonia.

“Every message we receive from people who love and appreciate our mom means more to us than we can ever express,” Kidman wrote. “Thank you from our entire family for respecting our privacy as we care for each other.”
