Disneyland has raised most ticket prices and all Magic Keys are priced beyond inflation


Summer is over, so that means it's time for Disneyland's annual price hike.

The park announced today that most daily ticket prices are increasing by about 6% while the top-level Magic Key Pass is increasing by 20%. The new rates are effective today.

For comparison, the consumer price index rose 2.5% in the year ending August 2024. This is according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The growth rate is expected to slow further in 2025.

Daily ticket

The good news is that Disneyland's lowest-priced, Tier 0 ticket price remains unchanged at $104. But those tickets are also the most limited, in terms of days guests can go For example, there are currently only five days left until the end of the year that Tier 0 tickets are available to reserve.

Even better news is that the park is bringing back its kids' ticket offer, which offers $50 off admission for visits after January 7, 2025. Tickets under this offer will go on sale from October 22.

Pass the magic key

In a statement, Disneyland Resort spokeswoman Jessica Good tried to frame the new pricing in terms of flexibility.

“There's nothing like going to the Disneyland Resort. We always offer a variety of tickets, dining and hotel options and promotional offers throughout the year to welcome as many families as possible,” he said.

Last year, the most expensive daily Disneyland pass rose about 9%, while the four tiers of Magic Key passes rose between 3.1% and 21.5%. A CNN analysis today estimates that, starting in 2021, the cost of the Inspire Key pass will increase by 25%. Believe Key is said to have jumped 45%, while Enchant and Imagine Key consumption is up 50%.

Date-based day passes for the parks remained at the same price as last year's announcement.
