Jennifer Lopez reflects on how 'the whole world exploded', not looking at the date

Jennifer Lopez Coming to blows over her breakup with her husband Ben Affleck …shared for the first time causing a highly publicized split.

The singer opened up to the comedian Nicky Glazer A new profile for Interview MagazineWhile JLo admits her “whole world exploded” after the release of her musical film “This Is Me… Now: A Love Story” — which takes center stage for her love story with Ben.

While Jennifer doesn't name Ben directly, she hints at what caused her marriage to fall apart… telling Nikki, “If you want something more whole, you have to be whole.”

As for Jennifer, she thought she had already “learned that,” but she had a revelation over the summer.

He continued … “I had to be like, 'I have to go and be alone. I want to prove to myself that I can do this.'”

J.Lo recalls feeling a mix of emotions after the breakup — including fear, sadness and despair.

She added … “Being in a relationship doesn't define me. I can't find happiness in other people. I have to find happiness in myself.”

As for whether she's looking to date again amid the split, Jennifer made it clear that she's focused on herself right now … noting that she's “not looking for anyone.”
