Tekashi 6ix9ine signs new record deal with Cartel Music worth over $6 million
Tekashi 6ix9ine Kartel is taking his talents to music… signing a new record deal with the label that will pay him millions of dollars.
The rapper just signed a lucrative deal that calls for him to record a new album with Mexican regional artists and tour the United States, Mexico and Central and South America.
According to the deal, obtained by TMZ , Takeshi is being paid $1 million for the album, which will feature 10 songs … and he's going to make $250,000 for each concert on the upcoming tour. All of this adds up to a potential pocket of more than $6 million for Tekashi.
After putting pen to paper, 69 told a photog in Miami that he can't wait to get started with Cartel Music … and told Pap that he has plans to take Mexico by storm.
In signing the contract, Tekashi agreed not to get involved in legal issues or start any conflicts on the digital platform … and not to get arrested, which has been a problem for him in the past.
While Tekashi is getting a nice salary here… a good portion is going towards his IRS debt.
