Chicago (October 2, 2024) – New US Men's National Team head coach Mauricio Pochettino has named 25 players to his first training camp roster. Named on September 10 to lead the USMNT, Pochettino will coach for the first time on October 12 against Panama in Austin, Texas. After a storied and successful career with several of Europe's top clubs, new USMNT head coach Mauricio Pochettino will jump into international football for the first time in the October FIFA window. Armed with vast experience and renowned tactical acumen, the USA's two October matches represent his first steps towards preparing the team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on home soil.

Pochettino began his managerial career with Espanyol in La Liga before moving to the Premier League, where he made a significant impact with Southampton and later Tottenham Hotspur. At Spurs, he guided the team to their first UEFA Champions League final in 2019 and achieved consecutive top four finals in the Premier League.
