NFL Week 4 Grades: Lions earn 'A-' after Jared Goff makes NFL history, Dolphins get 'D-' for ugly loss
Welcome to Week 4 Grades!
The fourth week of the NFL season was a big week for rookie quarterbacks. In the early window of the game, Caleb Williams and Bo Nix both came away with wins. As for Williams, he became the first QB in the general-draft era to win his first two home starts in the same year in which he was selected first overall.
Williams made his first career start in a Week 1 win against the Titans and followed that up Sunday in the Bears' win over the Los Angeles Rams. As for the Knicks, after throwing for negative yardage in the first half against the Jets, he returned to throw for 60 yards in the third quarter of that game and lead Denver to the only touchdown of any team that turned into 10. -9 wins for the Broncos.
Jayden Daniels capped off a big day for the rookie quarterback by leading the Commanders to a 42-14 win over the Cardinals. In the win, Daniels completed 86.7% of his passes, making him the first quarterback in NFL history to complete at least 85% of his passes in two consecutive games. Daniels has a commanding four weeks over .500 for the first time since 2011.
The wins by the Broncos, Bears and Commanders mark the third time in NFL history that three rookie quarterbacks have won the first four weeks of the season in the same week. The only other times this happened were in 2012 and 2016.
There was no rookie quarterback on Monday night, but Jared Goff did Set an NFL record by completing 100% of his passes Against the Seahawks. With Monday's doubleheader now over, all 16 games are in the books in Week 4, so let's check out the grades for each team below.
