Dave Grohl's ex Jennifer Finch defends him after cheating, secret baby bombshell
Dave Grohl has at least one ex in his corner.
Fellow rocker Jennifer Finch, who dated Grohl in the '90s, insisted to TMZ on Thursday that he's a top-notch father and friend.
Finch, 58, told the outlet that the two have remained tight since their days as a couple, adding that he recently got a front-row seat to her family dynamic while touring with the Foo Fighters.
According to Finch, Grohl, 55 — who revealed earlier this week that he recently fathered a child out of wedlock with his longtime wife, Jordyn Bloom — is doing his best to remedy the messy situation.
Finch also awkwardly teased that she wouldn't divulge the juicy details of their past romance until her youngest turned 18.
On Tuesday, Grohl – who shares daughters Violet May, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10, with Bloom – took to Instagram to announce that he has a fourth child.
“I recently became the father of a new baby girl, born out of wedlock,” he said in a statement to his followers.
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to him. I love my wife and my children, and I'm doing everything I can to restore their trust and get their forgiveness.”
The former Nirvana drummer – who has not revealed the identity of his fiancee – ended his message by saying that he and his family are “grateful” for the public's “consideration of all children” as they “move forward together.”
Bloom, 48, has yet to address the issue publicly; However, the former model-turned-MTV producer was photographed without a wedding ring just weeks before her husband's indiscretions made headlines.
After the news broke, internet users began to take a closer look at her past relationships.
In her 2003 memoir, snowboarding pioneer Tina Bacich claimed Grohl cheated on her during their two-year romance in the late '90s.
Then on Thursday, a woman claimed exclusively to Page Six that the musician hit her in 2013 using the “exact same” “future ex-wife” pickup line that won over Blum in 2001.
