Tom Brady went blind during Gisele Bundchen's pregnancy
Tom Brady may be more “stunned” by the news that his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen is having a baby with her boyfriend Joachim Valente than the Falcons, who are leading the Patriots 28-3 in Super Bowl LI.
The football legend “never imagined” he would have a child with Valeant, a source told Page Six.
“Tom knew things were serious between Gisele and Joaquin but he never imagined they would have a child together,” the source told Page Six. “It wasn't something that was on his radar. So when Gisele broke the news to him he was shocked, to say the least.
Brady only learned of the pregnancy a few days ago and is “getting used to the idea and he's happy for Giselle.”
News of Bündchen's pregnancy first broke on Monday, and TMZ has since reported that she is five or six months along with the baby, expected in early 2025.
“At the end of the day, Tom's only focus is on his children and his career. What Gisele decides to do with her own life is none of her business,” the source told Page Six.
Brady, 47, and Bundchen, 44, share son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, together.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion has another son, Jack, 17, from his previous marriage to actress Bridget Moynahan.
Brady and Bundchen married in 2009 and their divorce was finalized two years ago.
Bundchen began dating Valente in June 2023, while Brady was briefly linked to model Irina Shayk.
Since retiring from football, the quarterback began his career in broadcasting as part of Fox's No. 1 broadcast team with Kevin Burkhardt.
He recently came under fire for an offensive term he used to describe Bills quarterback Josh Allen during Fox's broadcast of a Bills-Seahawks game.
