Fans call Kim Kardashian's 'forced' Caitlyn Jenner birthday tribute: 'Caption looks tired'

Fans couldn't help but notice that Kim Kardashian's birthday wishes were less than Caitlyn Jenner's on Tuesday.

The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star took to Instagram to commemorate the former Olympian's big day with a single photo of the pair together with a short caption.

“Happy 75th birthday. I love you,” the Schemes founder wrote alongside the photo.

Jenner responded to the post, telling Kardashian: “Love you so much. Thanks for everything🙏🏼🤍.”

However, some of her fans were quick to point out that Kardashian's message didn't seem to carry her usual warmth that she usually uses in some of her birthday posts.

One social media user wrote, “I'm just dying with a short and sweet caption.

Another added, “It seems so forced. Kimmy baby we know you don't want to post this.”

“The caption looks tired,” someone else claimed, while another added, “'Not a 'your damn post' post here.”

Another Instagram user commented: “Lol, you can only say that because you 😂🤣 what happened to that essay you wrote on all your fams 🤣😂😅.”

Kardashian's birthday post to Jenner comes months after she responded to Jenner's claim that she was “counted out” on the “House of Kardashian” docuseries, which airs in November 2023.

The mother of four expressed Jenner's comments “It really doesn't [bother me]” on the Season 5 premiere of his family's Hulu series in May.

“I had such a great stepfather who raised me,” she added.

“So none of those words, even if twisted or whatever, would make me think about my life differently.”
