Veteran New York rapper and TV mogul Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson says he was offered $3 million by Donald Trump's re-election campaign to perform at the former president's much-criticized Madison Square Garden last Sunday.
50 Cent made the claim this morning during an appearance on Charlamagne Tha God's popular morning show The Breakfast Club DJ Jealously.
“I got a call, but they wanted me for Sunday,” the Candy Shop rapper said when asked by Envy if there was any truth to online rumors that he had received a call from Donald Trump's team about approving the payment.
“They offered me three million dollars to do it,” 50 Cent continued before confirming that he was also offered money to perform at the Republican National Convention, but he turned it down because he prefers to stay out of politics.
