Tyler, the Creator released new album Chromakopia
Tyler, Creator Chromacopia Here's the self-produced listen Call me if you're lost Follow-up album below. It features Childish Gambino, Schoolboy Q, Tjo Touchdown, Daniel Caesar, Dochie and “Sticky,” Lil Wayne, Gloriala and Sexy Red, The Rolling Stones, XXLand others, although no guest performers have been submitted to the streaming services at the time of writing.
Samples from the LP include Zambian musicians Paul Ngozi on “Noid,” Q-Tip and James Brown on “Darlin, I,” People's Pleasure with Alive and Well on “Take Your Mask Off” and Luke on “Balloons.” Daniel Caesar called “St. Chroma” and “Tomorrow.”
Tyler, led by the Creator Chromacopia With a string of noirish, self-directed videos: “St. Chroma,” featuring Ayo Edebiri-“Noid” and “Thought I Was Dead.” Explaining the unconventional release this morning, Tyler wrote on social media last week, “You can hear it when you wake up, something that wakes you up. Don't miss out on what you're going for there.”
A Chromacopia At an audience event in Los Angeles, Tyler linked the album's themes to the wisdom he received from his mother, The Rolling Stones Report “Now that I'm 33, all that stuff is like 'Oh, that's what he was talking about,'” he said. “'Oh I'm not the guy I was when I was 20. Oh shit, people get old, people have kids and families.' All I've got is a new Ferrari, which is kind of weird. Life is life. I just wanted to write about what I'm doing.”
Tyler will tour behind the album next year, making stops on three continents.
