HOUSTON — Quarterback Anthony Richardson and the Colts are back in the big game.
Indianapolis took a 10–3 lead over the Houston Texans when Richardson hit receiver Josh Downs for a 69-yard touchdown that took advantage of a broken coverage.

The Colts benefited from a natural pick when receiver Alec Pierce ran a deep post from the opposite side of the field. Pierce followed Downs and rubbed against the defensive back — who was also running a post — leaving Downs alone the rest of the field.
Meanwhile, Richardson stood tall in the pocket despite looking at an oncoming pass from defensive tackle Folorunso Fatukasi, who hit Richardson as he released the ball.
The completion was the longest of Richardson's career, topping a 60-yard touchdown pass to Pierce in Week 1 against the Texans.
