If you're craving a cheap cheeseburger this week, you're in luck.
McDonald's is offering a 50-cent double cheeseburger on Wednesday for National Cheeseburger Day. The deal is only available on the McDonald's app.
They are not the only ones. Burger King and Wendy's are also reportedly offering deals to customers this week.

According to an announcement in People magazine, on September 18 BK Royal Perks is offering members a free cheeseburger with any purchase.
Wendy's is offering a multi-day deal, where customers can get a 1-cent junior bacon cheeseburger with any purchase. Wendy's customers must use the chain's app, People reports.
Neither BK nor Wendy's immediately responded to Fox Business' request for comment.

The city of Pasadena, California takes credit as the birthplace of the American cheeseburger. Lionel Clark Sternberger, 16, was working at his father's streetside burger stand called The Right Spot in 1924 when he “slapped a piece of cheese” to hide a burnt patty or was obliged by a customer's request, according to the nonprofit Visit Pasadena.
Fast-food chains are constantly testing promotions, giveaways and menu item changes to win over customers struggling with inflation.

In July, McDonald's made a report sales decline For the first time in years it struggled to attract cash-strapped customers amid high menu prices.
Global sales fell 1% in the second quarter, its first decline in 13 quarters, compared with analysts' average estimate of a 0.53% rise, according to LSEG data.
