'Toxic' because Meghan Markle and Prince Harry haven't been seen together in weeks

Two is not always better than one.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not been seen together for over a month, fueling speculation that their marriage may be in trouble.

But a PR expert says their separate public outings have nothing to do with their personal lives.

Instead, Ed Coram James believes it's about business and rebranding.

“Harry and Meghan have had a distinct brand since their wedding,” James told GB News. “This brand is based on a pair. Call it 'Harry and Meghan', call it 'Sussex', whatever you want. The fact is that over the years they have become synonymous with each other.”

Recently, James claimed that the couple's joint image had become “toxic” and said Harry and Meghan's recent solo outings were a deliberate attempt to recast themselves as separate entities that were more marketable.

“Since the famous Oprah interview, where they had a heated disagreement between themselves and the rest of the royal family and basically declared all-out war, that brand has become steadily more toxic and thus commercially untenable where it's not that many big brands base their brand value on. Rushing to write a big check,” he explained.

“When combined, the Sussexes brand is toxic, from a PR perspective. But, if separate, they have a real opportunity to create a completely different brand with a completely different label.”

The savvy business move, however, has led to some speculation about Yuvraj's status and the “Suits” alum's marriage.

An insider told GB News that the Sussexes are stronger than ever and Markle looks to dispel the rumours.

“She's been really stressed in recent weeks with all the speculation surrounding her and Harry and their wedding,” the source said.

“They've done themselves no favors by doing so many separate events but they've decided to do this because it works best for them as a couple at the moment and they both feel they can shine at events close to their heart.”

Meanwhile, reports from a royal expert have claimed that Markle has her personal memoir “in her back pocket” in case she needs it “for revenge” later.

Earlier this year, the Duchess of Sussex revealed in a book that she plans to expand her mental health fight while at the palace.

While there has been no official word from her camp, royal correspondent Jenny Bond believes the actress could use the project to her advantage in the future.

“It's been more than two years since he gave that interview, and he's since shied away from controversy about the royal family,” Bond said right!

“Of course, the journal he mentioned would be a potential weapon in his back pocket if he ever felt the need to exact some sort of revenge.”
