Wisconsin football fan, JJ Watt reacts to the Badgers' loss to Alabama
The Wisconsin football team was a significant underdog against Alabama for a reason.
As it turns out, the 16-point spread should have been even bigger as the Crimson Tide dominated in all directions to beat the Badgers 42-10 on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.
The Badgers lost their starting quarterback Tyler Van Dyke to an injury and it was downhill from there.
Wisconsin (2-1) couldn't handle the Crimson Tide's speed or Heisman Trophy candidate Jalen Milroe, and the Badgers made too many mistakes. Two turnovers and a missed field goal turned into three Alabama touchdowns.
Luke Fickell's team could get away with inconsistent games against Western Michigan and South Dakota in the first two weeks. They couldn't against the extremely talented Crimson Tide (3-0). And in the end, the Badgers showed they didn't belong in Alabama's league.
That continued realization Wisconsin football fans and followers of the program on social media have been terribly disappointed with the direction of the program over the past two years. Many former famous players are also speaking.
