Rosie O'Donnell's Daughter Arrested For Child Neglect, Drug Charges Child Found In Home With Meth Pipe
Rosie O'Donnell's baby grandson was found in a Wisconsin home littered with meth pipes, dirty diapers, rotten food, trash and razor blades — and the talk show host's daughter was arrested for child neglect and drug possession.
Chelsea Belle O'Donnell, who was adopted as a baby by the actress, called the police last month after an apparent dispute with her boyfriend, Jacob Nelund, according to reports.
But when the police arrived — the second time in a week they were called to Chelsea O'Donnell's home — the couple apparently downplayed the incident, according to In Touch.
This time, officials say her 11-month-old son, Atlas, was found in her room, near a box of hypodermic needles and a meth pipe with leftovers from the house.
According to the report, police also found evidence indicating that there was a setup to cook meth inside the house, which could have led to drug trafficking.
Chelsea was in possession of 18 grams of meth, police said.
O'Donnell was charged with four counts of maintaining a drug trafficking facility, child neglect, possession of meth and possession of THC, In Touch reported Friday, citing court documents.
Marinette County, which is just north of Green Bay, charged the younger O'Donnell with two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and possession of illegally obtained prescription drugs.
The home was filled with rotten food and moldy dishes, police said.
“The inside of the house was disgusting [with] Milk that went so bad it almost made me puke, dirty diapers, feminine hygiene products, unclean underwear stained with feces and blood, and used razor blades on the floor,” documents obtained by In Touch read, according to the outlet.
An officer discovered a digital scale and other apparent drug paraphernalia under a baby's crib, In Touch reported.
Police said Chelsea was “unsteady” and “sweating profusely” when they arrived, and that both she and Nelund appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
“It appears that Jacob and Chelsea were more concerned with their drug addiction than providing [the baby] with a safe and clean environment,” the police alleged in their report.
A month later, on October 11, police pulled Chelsea over and arrested her when they found a meth pipe.
Police also alleged that she had pills including oxycodone, morphine sulfate pills and hydrocodone in her bra.
Police charged him with possession of meth, bail jumping and drug possession – all felonies.
He will appear in court in November in both cases.
Rosie O'Donnell, 62, has been estranged from Chelsea.
He and his ex-wife Kelly Carpenter adopted Chelsea when she was a baby, but Chelsea left in 2016 when she was 18 and moved to Wisconsin to be closer to her biological mother.
“Chelsea is mentally ill,” Rosie told the Daily Mail in 2017.
“He's]been in and out of the hospital most of his life. A born heroin addict. He's had a hard road. He's very sick. He's not capable of truth or logic.
In addition to baby Atlas, Chelsea has three other children: daughters Skyler Rose, 5, Riley, 3, and Avery Lynn, 2.
Neither Chelsea nor Jacob Nelund responded to calls from The Post Saturday.
