Malik Nabers: It was scary when I got hurt I couldn't remember the play

Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers will return to action Sunday against the Eagles after missing the last two games with an injury he said he doesn't remember.

Nabers said he later suffered from “headaches and, like, head banging” but doesn't remember what actually happened to hurt him.

“It was scary when I couldn't remember what happened,” Nabers said. “I can't remember the last play I was in, so yeah, it was kind of scary.”

Nabbers tripped while trying to make a catch along the sideline, and while he put his hands on the ball and his toes on the ground, there was nothing to break his fall and he crashed face-first into the turf. He said he could remember Daniel Jones throwing to him but not trying to make the catch.

“The last thing I remember was DJ throwing me the ball. That was it,” Nabers said.

Nabers said he has changed helmet models to wear one he's been told will better protect him from future injuries and is confident in his ability to play the way he used to.

“I'm ready to go,” Nabers said.
