It looks like the Warped Tour is back in 2025 for three, two-night festivals
Update: Warped Tour has launched a website with venues for each date as well as ticket pre-sale information. The organizers also confirmed the return.
Kevin LymanThe Warped Tour founder shared: “People connecting, live music and the raw, raw experience that Warped has always offered. We've seen how music continues to unite and inspire, and this comeback isn't just about nostalgia—it's about giving a new generation that same sense of belonging and freedom. That's what Warped has always championed when it comes to providing the experience.
“Insomniac is a company I've always admired, so when the opportunity came up to collaborate, I couldn't say no. I thought, why not? Let's dive in and make it happen!”
Pasquale RotellaFounder of Insomniac Shares: “It's exciting to partner with Kevin To bring back the warped tour. He's built an incredible legacy that celebrates the heart of live music, and we're excited to create a red festival that honors the spirit of the Warped Tour. We both prioritize culture and community and focus on putting the fan experience at the forefront, which is why this partnership feels so natural.”
original story: The Warped Tour is returning in 2025, though it looks like it will be three separate two-day events across the US rather than a full-on tour.
A billboard seen at the When We Were Young festival advertises three Warped Tour events – June 14 and 15 in Washington DC, June 26 and 27 in Long Beach, CA, and then November 15 and 16 in Orlando, FL. The top of the billboard also advertises that ticket pre-sales will go up on October 24, so expect a lineup announcement soon. Especially considering the founders of Warped Tour Kevin Lyman Mid-September said details would be ready “within a few weeks”.
Warped Tour originally started as a traveling festival in 1995 and runs until 2018. There was a Warped Tour in 2019, though it only took place in Cleveland, OH; Atlantic City, NJ; and Mountain View, CA. So it looks like the 2025 edition is going to mirror the 2019 edition, in terms of major events happening in fewer places.
I think the real challenge now with Warped Tour is the competition from festivals like When We Were Young, All Your Friends Fest, Sick New World, and even Riot Fest that are already leaning into the nostalgia wave of the late 90s and early 2000s. Warped Tour is a household name at the moment in terms of festivals though, so maybe they'll be perfectly fine with the branding alone.
