'$23 and no product?': Wendy's customer tries new Krabby Patty meal It's not what he expects

Wendy's teams up with Paramount to release two limited-time menu items in celebration of 'SpongeBob SquarePants' 25th anniversary.

The special promotion, called the “Krabby Patty Collab,” features a “Pineapple Under the Sea” frost with pineapple and mango puree, and the famous Krabby Patty burger from the show.

The items are set to officially launch in the US, Canada and Guam on October 7 and 8, with some locations already offering them.

Recently, a woman on TikTok went viral after trying the Krabby Patty Burger and sharing a short review with her viewers.

TikToker tries the Krabby Patty Burger

In her TikTok video, user Felisha (@felisha__xo) shows off the newly released Crabby Patty Burger, giving viewers a close-up of the sandwich, which lacks sesame seeds on the bun.

“So here you guys, Krabby Patty,” Felisha began.

Then she removes the top bun, revealing the ingredients inside, and immediately begins rearranging them. He points out how the order differs from how it is portrayed on the show.

“What? Everyone knows it's supposed to go this way,” he says, combining onions, lettuce and pickles.

Once satisfied with his fix, he takes a bite and gives his review.

“Pretty good, pretty good,” he concluded, nodding in approval after the first taste.

The video has garnered over 1.5 million views at the time of writing.

The audience isExpress frustration

In the comments, some users expressed disappointment with the burger's appearance, while others were skeptical of its authenticity as an actual Wendy's Krabby Patty.

“It's really a No. 1 with an orange frost,” noted one user

Another user couldn't get over the missing sesame seed bun, saying, “Not having sesame seed buns in it is sending me into a spiral.”

One confused commenter questioned the timing of the release: “They're not dropping until the 8th, wym?”

Felisha responded in a follow-up video, in which she shared a screenshot of her Wendy's receipt, confirming that she ordered both the Frosty and Krabby Patty burgers. The total came to CA$23.41, which is about $17.24 USD.
